A restored bank on North Loudoun Street, now an event venue. I've been photographing the space and its people for a while now.

What this was
A venue sells a room somebody has to picture before they'll book it. So I photograph the empty rooms a planner needs to see, and the details only this building has, like the vault.
What I photographed
- The main hall from the floor and from the mezzanine, the long hall under the blue drapes, the bar, the lounge.
- The vault. The door open in the wall, the mechanism, the safe-deposit boxes, the maker's plate. It's the unique things about the space.
- The courtyard under the shade sails.
- Portraits on site, the venue's own people against the space itself.
- Details: the brass dial on the vault, and flowers beside a leather chair.

Replies to inquiries, the venue's own site and listings, and the social calendar that a space like this burns through faster than anything else.
