What’s the report for?
Think about the holiday cards you get from friends you haven’t talked to in years. One card, and you’re caught up on their whole year.
The annual report is that card. It tells people who care about you what happened, and the pictures do most of the telling.
Which photos does a report need?
- Your leadership, with current portraits that match each other.
- Your people doing the work, in your space.
- The year’s big moments: the event, the launch, the ribbon.
- A few quiet frames a designer can put text over.
If I’ve been photographing for you through the year, most of this already exists. That’s the best case. You’re not scrambling in January, you’re picking.
What can we shoot in December?
Plenty. The holiday party gives you the whole team in one room. A short shoot in the office gives you the work and the space. Portraits can happen the same day.
When do we do executive portraits?
Before the designer needs them, which is earlier than you think. Portraits for the whole office walks through how that day runs.
Stock or our own people?
Your own. Readers can spot stock in a second, and a report is supposed to be about you.
What does it cost?
It’s quoted on time on site. A full day is $5,200, and shorter shoots are quoted from there. More of this kind of work is on Brand and Corporate Events.
