What is brand photography?
Photos of your business the way it actually is. Your people, the work, the space and the small details, the things you’d show someone if they came by for a tour.
When somebody’s deciding whether to call you, those pictures are doing a lot of the talking.
What should we shoot first?
- You, and the people customers will actually meet.
- The work while it’s happening: hands, tools, the mess in the middle.
- The finished result.
- The place: the shop, the trucks, the sign out front.
One shoot or ongoing?
One shoot can cover the website. After that, you’ll want new pictures every month for posts and updates.
I’ve been working with a few local companies on an ongoing basis, where I come in each month and shoot whatever their marketing needs, and I pitch in on the marketing side too. One of them is a foundation repair crew, and the library just keeps growing.
What are the photos for?
Your website first. Then your Google listing, social posts, proposals and the sales deck. Tell me where they’re going before the shoot, and I’ll shoot for those places.
I’ve been photographing finished projects, spaces and brand shoots for businesses over the past decade. I’m based in Loudoun and work from Winchester and Warrenton in to Herndon and DC. More is on Brand, and a monthly engagement is on A content engagement.
