Plenty of other things need photographs.

I'm the one to get them all. The team at work, the building, the process, the animals if you run a zoo. Photographs that make a site, a deck or a press kit look like the actual place, not a stock library.

The set a site needs

A hero for the home page, a few frames of people doing the work, the building from the outside and the room from the inside, and a handful of details. Half a day covers it for most companies.

Editorial, not catalog

These are photographed the way a magazine would cover you: real light, real people, the moment rather than the pose. It's why they hold up next to the writing.

Pairs with a portrait day

Portraits in the morning, the office and the work in the afternoon. One day on site, and the whole site refreshed at once.

Questions I get

What goes in a brand shoot?

Everything a company needs that isn't an event: the team at work, the building, the details, the process, the things you sell. A half day usually covers a website's worth.

Can we mix this with a portrait day?

Yes, and it's the efficient way to do it. Portraits in the morning, the office and the work in the afternoon, one day on site.

What does it cost?

A full day on site is $5,200. A second photographer is $1,700 a day, rush delivery is $1,000. Shorter days are quoted from there. Send me the date, the venue and the hours and I'll send the number.

Can we put people from the photos in our ads?

You're hiring me for the photographs. The people in them still own their own faces. For the everyday uses, the recap, your social posts, the newsletter, the press, your own walls, a sign at the door saying photography is happening is the normal practice. If you want a specific person on a billboard, a mailer or a paid ad, that person has to agree to it in writing. That part sits with you as the client, the same as it would with any photographer, and it's worth deciding before the shoot so we can plan those frames.
