What do corporate portraits cost?
There are two different things here and they don’t price the same way.
One person in a studio is a session fee. You’re buying an hour of a photographer’s time and a finished frame or two at the end.
A team, on site is a day or a half day. I bring the setup to your office and photograph everybody who signs up, which almost always works out cheaper per person than sending people out one at a time.
How the on-site math works
It’s priced on time, not headcount. A two-hour block handles about thirty people at roughly four minutes each.
So the block costs what it costs, and filling it is what makes it a good deal. If twelve people sign up you’ve paid the same as if thirty had. That’s the one thing worth knowing when you’re budgeting, and it’s why I’ll usually tell you to promote it internally a week ahead.
What changes the number
Mostly it’s how much driving and how much repeating is involved.
Three offices is three separate visits, so that’s priced as its own thing rather than as one long day. And if you want to run this regularly, say quarterly, that’s a different conversation than a one-off. Tell me the shape of what you’re after and I’ll give you the number.
Why these search results are so confusing
Search this and you’ll get a lot of retail portrait pricing, which is a different product for a different buyer. Commercial team portraits aren’t that market, and comparing the two will mislead you in both directions.
