What this was

A small vineyard wanted pictures of the place in July, before harvest, that were not phone snapshots: the rows, the fruit, the road in. One early morning, on foot, in the fog.

What I photographed

The rows, into the fog and down the slope.
The green clusters, close, in color and in black and white.
The swallowtail and the wildflowers between the rows.
The road in, the rocks and the ridge.

What it's for

The tasting room walls, the website, the label and the social feed through harvest. For me: the vineyard set every winery in the valley needs and few have.
