Planning an event in Chantilly?
Chantilly sits in western Fairfax County right next to Washington Dulles International Airport, where Routes 28 and 50 meet. It mixes office parks, hotels and a craft beer scene, and it is home to the Smithsonian’s Udvar-Hazy Center.
Which venues should you look at?
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (National Air and Space Museum)
The Smithsonian’s companion museum near Dulles opened in December 2003, with aircraft and spacecraft hung from ten-story arched trusses. Space Shuttle Discovery, an SR-71 Blackbird and the Enola Gay all live here. The museum offers private, after-hours access for corporate receptions and galas.
For photos: huge open hangars with aircraft overhead give wide, dramatic frames.
Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles
A stately conference hotel at the Westfields Corporate Center, about seven miles from Dulles Airport, built around meetings and events. It offers dozens of meeting rooms and sits next to Westfields Golf Club, a Fred Couples design.
For photos: formal ballrooms and long corridors suit staged sessions and receptions; the grounds and golf course add outdoor options.
Chantilly National Golf & Country Club
A private club on a former dairy farm on Braddock Road, with a championship course that opened around 1960. It hosts board meetings, retreats, company celebrations and charity or client golf outings for groups of about 6 to 200.
For photos: clubhouse rooms with course views, plus golf outings that move outdoors across the grounds.
Ono Brewing Company
A veteran- and family-owned brewery with a tropical theme drawn from the owners’ Hawaiian roots; ono means delicious in Hawaiian. It runs a 12-tap self-serve wall and has indoor and outdoor space for private and semi-private events, plus a separate private room called Ono Offshore.
For photos: colorful, casual taproom light; good for relaxed team gatherings and candid moments.
Bunnyman Brewing Chantilly (formerly Mustang Sally Brewing)
Mustang Sally opened this large production brewery on Parke Long Court in 2016 and merged with Bunnyman Brewing in 2025; the taproom and many of its beers carried over. Its roomy taproom has long hosted festivals and private events.
For photos: big industrial taproom with brewhouse backdrops; plenty of room for groups.
Honor Brewing Company (Chantilly)
A veteran-owned brewery founded in 2014 by former Army pilot Allen Cage, built around honoring service members. The Chantilly location has a private tasting room for smaller company gatherings.
For photos: intimate private room; works well for small groups and speeches.
