Planning an event in Towson and Hunt Valley?
North of the city along I-83, Towson and Hunt Valley are Baltimore County’s business hubs, with conference hotels, corporate campuses and the edge of Maryland horse country. Groups come here for easy parking, simpler logistics and space to spread out.
Which venues should you look at?
Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel
Towson’s full-service hotel at 903 Dulaney Valley Road, connected by skywalk to Towson Town Center. It is a common pick for Towson-area business meetings, banquets and association events.
For photos: standard hotel ballrooms; good for clean stage, award and networking coverage.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore Hunt Valley
An all-suite hotel just off I-83 next to Hunt Valley Towne Centre, with about 6,000 square feet of meeting space. It sits near USA Lacrosse’s headquarters and Hall of Fame and suits small conferences and corporate meetings.
For photos: an open atrium lobby gives bright space for networking and arrival frames.
Maryland State Fairgrounds
Home of the Maryland State Fair in Timonium, the fairgrounds host trade shows, expos and conventions year-round. The Cow Palace is its largest indoor hall at 158,400 square feet, and the Vista Room in the Administration Building handles meetings and banquets.
For photos: big open halls suit expos and trade shows; plan wide coverage plus close booth moments.
How do you plan the photos?
Picked the room? Next comes the plan. What event photography costs has the rates, and the event shot list helps you decide what matters most. For an association, see annual meeting photography; for a company, corporate event photography. Evening events have their own page for gala photography. If the whole team is in one place, it’s a good day for corporate portraits. If you’re bringing a team from DC, how to book an event photographer walks through the steps.
What else is nearby?
Event venues nearby: Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point, Frederick. I’m based in Northern Virginia and travel for events; see my work as an event photographer.
