Events

National Harbor is built for size: a resort convention center, a casino hotel with a theater, and a waterfront full of restaurants for the after party. That means multi-day conferences with expo halls, general sessions for thousands, awards galas and sponsor receptions. Away from the harbor, the county's universities and hospitals hold dinners and awards of their own.

Big shows

A show this size is mostly walking. Expo floor, breakouts, the general session and the sponsor booths sit on different levels. Send me the run of show and the sponsor list early, and I'll map the day around them.

Questions I get

Do you charge travel to National Harbor?

No. It's inside the DC metro, just across the river from Alexandria.

Can one photographer cover a show this size?

For a smaller program, yes. For a full show with an expo floor and sessions running side by side, a second photographer is worth talking about, and I can bring one.
